Random BSOD after upgrading components

Earlier this week I have done a small upgrade to my PC which consisted of a new Motherboard, CPU and RAM. The Graphics card (Nvidia GTX260) is the same.

Shortly after upgrading all of this I noticed Chrome would repeatedly crash on any website at all, after playing a game I usually play, I've had two BSOD's from it and a ton of game crash's (With no useful debugging information).

I initially thought it may have been my Drivers to some stuff that is causing problems, however I am having trouble installing windows from a USB drive (Can only boot 32x version so far). However I'd like to find an alternative to formatting.

I've used OSR Online - The Home Page for Windows Driver Developers to read the dump file and have found "A fatal hardware error has occurred." The crash code link linked me here: Bug Check 0x124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (Windows Debuggers) which appears to be the STOP error (Hardware or something, not read up on it).
I'm not overclocking as it's all at it's default settings.

I remember seeing on one of the BSOD's about the "Video Memory Manager" However after updating my GFX drivers I haven't seen that one happen since. I also then thought it could be to-do with the CPU heat, however it's running a little hot but nothing that I can see what causes it, as I was watching netflix then I got a BSOD.

Are you using the same installation of Windows that you had before upgrading to a new motherboard (and CPU and RAM)?

Yes, That's why I think it's a driver issue.

I'm wanting to re-format but having trouble getting my DVD to be bootable via USB as my motherboard doesn't have any ports for my DVD drive.

Yes, That's why I think it's a driver issue.

I don't know how to fix the current issue without formatting and starting over, but I have a little feeling that someone here on SevenForums might. Still, if you format and start over, then you won't run into any other surprise problems later on.

Almost got windows installed, I got to like 90% then it BSOD on me. something about NTFS and the STOP code again.

After reading the motherboard manual it appears that it supports 1GB, 2GB and 4GB sticks, however I have just one 8GB stick. Could this be causing the random BSOD's?

Tried installing again and now it's been at Expanding Windows Files 79% for over 30 minutes now.

I lack the experience and knowledge to know for sure, but I do recommend a 2 x 4 GB setup anyway since it would be in dual channel and that supposedly has superior performance. Not only that, but of course, you might be right.
