To answer Pauly, i've uninstalled Daemon Tools, reinstalled DirectX, did memtest, 7 passes and the only stress test was with OCCT.

    Have you used the command?

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
Run some hard-drive diagnostics and follow these steps:

Find your hard-drive manufacturer and run their tests.

    Additional Tests:

Post a screenshot of Crystal Disk Info summary:

Make sure you have the latest firmware for SSD, and ensure all the SATA and Power cables are connected to the drive.

Check for any file system errors and bad sectors using Option #2 of:

Use this command with Disk Check:

It's easy, download the program from WD, read the short tutorial.

Run the WD Lifeguard test on your HDD(s). Quick Test first, if it passes then run the Extended Test.

whenever i try to complete the quick test i get an error.

Status code = 00 (No error or no test ever run),
Failure Checkpoint = 00(Unknown Test) SMART self-test did not complete drive 1!

It only affects the C disk

I assume i shouldn't run an extended test on C since it seems to be some sort of error when i try to run a quick test on it.

For now, try using this command:

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
Start > Type: cmd > Right-Click > Run As Administrator > Enter Command > Press Enter

Don't run the hard drive tests on your SSD.

OCZ should have a 'toolbox' program to check for problems with your SSD.
If you don't have it, check the OCZ support site, run the diagnostic program and post the results.
