BSOD while doing almost everything.
So I been getting BSODs frequently, playing games, watching youtube, booting-up, going into safe-mode and plenty others.
So i did multiple tests for my laptop such as checking for anti-viruses, rootkits, my RAM, harddrive.
All came out find with no problems ! And also did a re-format and Windows 7 upgrade & re-install which proved useless.
It would be great if I could solve these endless BSODs . Been happening for a month or two now~

did you do
Code:
diskpart
list disk (note the number if your disk, in this example I use Y)
sel disk Y
clean
exit
How did you reformat the disk?

Thanks for the quick reply !I used the built-in image that Asus had. Re-boot and pressing F9 then formatting it, and if I remember, i even had a BSOD while formatting which continued smoothly after restarting.

So you did a asus factory restore. It bsod'ed on formatting. How many disks do you have?
Code:
diskpart
list disk
exit
How many partitions on disk 0? all are primary?
Code:
diskpart
sel disk 0
list part

From your attachment I think you have onle 1 harddisk. It contains 2 partitions. 1 is for recovery and one is for windows. 2nd partition is marked active?
Code:
diskpart
sel dis 0
sel part 2
det part
Is it ACTIVE? Is it your win7 disk...look at it's size
you forgot to add the bsod dump file!

Mmms, I only have one disk and I formatted it to having only one partition excluding the recovery to try it since having two last time wasn't really much difference compared to now.'
And I think I accidently deleted the dumpfiles while using CCleaner, although I have an analysis of some old dump files, not sure if its much use but I will post it here while I try to re-produce the BSODs.
Although when i tried a few mins ago, it only froze my comp without a BSOD.

You did a ASUS REcovery to factory settings?? After that system has 2 partitions (OS and RECOVERY)?
Which of th 2 is ACTIVE now? Post disk management screenshot please
-
Yeah I did Asus recovery to factory settings with one partition. Im guessing the recovery partition is hidden since it only contains files for factory reset. And through the disk management, im not really sure where the unnamed drive came from as on My Computer, it only showed OS (C:) Drive too, along with Asus WebStorage Drive

Indeed 2 partitions. system boot manager/bootmenu is on OS partition. In bootmenu is an entry to start from same partition. You only have 1 option so it isn't diaplayed. Partition 25GB isn't touched at all in boot proces! Only if booting with special key to enter ASUS recovery mode.
You tried reformatting and recover to factory settings already. So no important files are on disk (or at least backupped already?
