BSOD problem

To see if Driver Verifier is running, then I think you may be able to use this command in a Elevated Command Prompt:

Code:

verifier /query

Start > Type: cmd > Right-Click > Run as Administrator > Type Command

What were the results of the Disk Check?

what disk check, i havent done one?

Cheers for the tips we did everything last night and when we restarted the computer everything was working fine, but when we turned on the computer this morning we had chrome and skype were corrupted, windows asked us to do a CHKSDK check so we did, we also disabled the DV settings for the moment. What were the results?

after we did this we tried to install updates and it came up with another BSOD, so then we followed all the instructions we have been given on here

Read these steps to see if a Event Log was saved of the Disk Check:

• Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log

If there is no log saved, then don't worry about it. Please copy the results; if any in your next post.

Keep Driver Verifier running as instructed by Arc.

there are loads, some off them saying Information and some saying Error?

Have you followed all the steps, and have got to the appropriate Event Log?
