    Sorry to chip in on the thread but;

    Code:
    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000000, Machine Check Exception
    Arg2: fffffa80071e4028, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
    Arg3: 00000000be200000, High order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
    Arg4: 000000000005110a, Low order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
If updating the BIOS doesn't seem to resolve the problem, then you may stress test the CPU, the address of WHEA structure pointed to a Level 2 processor cache, however, the error was sourced from the MCE, which means the CPU detected a hardware error and then reported it to the operating system which produced the WHEA bugcheck.

    Test the CPU for confirmation:

Enable "Round off checking" before the test (see first post below tutorial).

    Then follow these steps:

If all the hardware checks do not produce any errors, then it could be a bad motherboard.
I have ran Prime for ten tests without issue, what would the best length of time be to fully test my cpu?

I have also re added my overclock. As my system has crashed with the same error when overclocked and not. But I do require that speed boost because I render quite a bit of video. And seeing as the latest crash was when overclocked it seemed like a good idea to test with it enabled.

Post the last dump(s) so we can see if it's the same 0x124 error.

The latest error was what I posted in the start of this thread.

All my BSOD's of late have been from the same error.

The recommended amount/time should be in the tutorial, and I would start following the steps within troubleshooting guide for Stop 0x124's; one of the steps is to stop overclocking.

Oops I should have read it fully.

I will do as suggested and see what happens.

    Thanks again for the help.

It wouldnt let me jump from the current bios to the latest, it seems Asus didnt make an all in one bios update.

So far no issues tonight, Im going to do all the updates tomorrow and test the system without the overclock.

I have two storage drives, so I put the bios roms on one of them and selected the one I wanted from there.
