BSOD caused by AVG error now unable to boot

Yesterday when i turned my laptop on it stopped at avgidseh.sys then soon after i got a BSOD. After this i googled it and found the problem was due to an AVG update error and i followed the instructions to repair the issue by updating AVG with the AVG rescue CD. After doing this apparently successfully I rebooted my laptop and it does not go any further than the Toshiba screen, when i try to boot from HDD it says repeats the following:

'Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.1.9(12/15/09)

Check cable connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key'

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C650 - 1CP which had a 64bit version of windows 7 installed.
I need help trying to fix the no bootable device problem or a way to reinstall
Thanks in advance for any help.
