Windows system is acting like a woman on a full moon!

Hey Guys,

I'm writing this on my personal laptop using Ubuntu (as I have a dual boot system on my system).

A couple of weeks ago my computer started playing up (as stupid me left my laptop on in my bag and over heated) and since then i have been receiving a screen like this:

However sometimes when i press the keys during that time it load at all so I have to force start the computer. However now it's stopped now for no reason at all (which is a good thing right?).

However now my windows 7 system will let me log on but will have the welcome page sitting there for a very long time (I waited about 30 minutes) so what do i do now?

But it would effect my lunix OS as well though if it was a harware issue.

When starting it up on safe mode it will load up the drivers buit will stall the the driver:
