    System tray missing. Nothing works..

    Hi All,

I have a strange problem, inwhich when i log in - the system Tray doesn't appear. When i try load up Outlook, it doesn't work. Brings up an error message something like this "outlook, has been moved, copied or deleted" and once this pop-up shows, I cannot press anything, not even bring up Task Manager. The only way is to restart the laptop. Then after a couple of restarts, everything is fine again. But it happens quite regularly. I've looked through the Event Viewer and cannot really find anything that gives me an indication of what the problem is... only this.
I've ran a chkdsk and sfc /scannow which brought up nothing...

    Any help?

    Thanks!

sttray64.exe - IDT PC Audio by IDT - Boost Your PC. is just a porgram...not the system tray itself!!

Try clean boot Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Still same problem? Set it back to normal boot when finished testing.

    "safe mode" has same problem?
