Monitor Connectivity Issues

Hey all,

I've recently been experiencing my monitor losing its signal or going into sleep mode after about a minute of Windows 7 having run fine. I thought it was the way my GPU was seated, and after several attempts I think it's sorted. However I had some nasty crashes and obtained a DMP. Can anyone tell me what was happening with this?

Apologies if it's a waste of anyones time. I just wanted to make sure I'd got to the root of it.

Regards,
Jibrohni

***UPDATE*** I'm still getting this issue in Low Res mode (VGA mode) - please help!!

It might be a malware, in some cases.
Code:

Scan the system for possible virus infection.
Let us know the results.

Yes, so I believe it is a problem with the connection into my oversized GPU. I've lay the box on its side now so the weight of the GPU isn't affecting its seating position. Tightened screws too. I'll report back in a day or two if it's all still ok.

Thanks again

Quite new to the tech world and have just one question regarding a problem I'm having with my router.. It just seems to be my bad luck that it cuts out nine times out of ten (provided by the courtesy of AT&T.) Has anyone else had this problem before? To be more precise, it's a 2wire - so it has...

Ok, I'll start by saying that I have trawled the internet for weeks attempting to find a solution to my problem, and have tried so many things that I've finally decided to just ask for some help. Furthermore I am sure this is a computer problem and not the router or ISP, as all other computers on...
