Okay, the latest Nvidia drivers are still causing problems, please try the driver below
which is a stable Nvidia driver:

Download and install
Driver Fusion.
Reboot the computer in
Advanced Boot Options, safe mode. Search Driver Fusion in your start menu,
and remove all components of your nVidia display driver.
If it says the the free version of Driver Fusion cannot remove all the elements, stop there and follow
Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
Boot normally now. Go to:
Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Drivers > Beta and Legacy; search there with your cards particulars for:
GeForce 306.23 Driver, dated 13.9.2012 and install it.
Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

cheers
Dave

Hello again! only just done what you told me to do, just really haven't been bothered to sort it out.

Firstly the AI charger thing I think is something to do with the USB ports, when I downloaded and tried to install it said I already had that version, but i re installed anyway.

I sweeped all my drivers completely within safe mode and downloaded the drivers you told me to. I also did some stress testing on FurMark too and I saw that the temps were a little on the hot side but not ALERT hot, my case doesn't have great airflow anyway.

Pic of the stress test is in the attachments instead. My temps leveled off completely at 78 degree C (2 mins approx of this temp) I did see that my gadget on my desktop was reading 70 when I quit and looked at it straight away.

Oh and also I was wondering whether it might be a fault with the factory overclock, I've heard a few times that they pulled down the voltage a tiny bit and sometimes it works okay, just putting that out there. Happy about the RAM removal, I definitely feel the improvement as I don't get the BSOD anymore apart from that last one, I use to get them most days. Just tested BF3 same freeze as before, total freeze, can't do anything but restart, did notice sometimes it makes it so my peripherals disconnect and reconnect multiple times, and I here some sort of sound sometimes whether it be that weird groany noise or just random bits of sound (very short). Infact it made my game seem to crash quicker than before so I'm reverting to the other drivers I had.

Sorry for the late reply!

Still having the problem on BF3 but I think if I wait for a minute (I waited like 5 but I didn't know when it actually started working again) it stopped freezing (I pressed ctrl alt del when it freezed) where it then went onto the task manager screen thingy, I don't think I pressed it many times but still, when I clicked cancel or task manager it went straight back to the blue task screen, I tried other stuff and managed to get it working again, using task manager to quite BF3.

Any help appreciated, might take it to a computer place if I can't get it sorted.

It's the same crash as before, I've just fount out if I wait a minute or so it sorts itself out by going to my desktop screen, would there be a crash report for such thing? I don't think there would as the game hasn't actually quit either it's still in the background and have to right click to and close or ctrl alt del to quit as I when I click on it, it doesn't let me play.

Hmmm, do you experience this with any other game?

I still think its the game BF3 that is causing issues, especially if you have no other problems
playing other games or using the computer normally?

Run the SF Tool again and post up the full logs and I will take another look.

Cheers

Yea it also does it on crysis 2, exactly the same freeze.

I don't know really, I've repaired install done a full reinstall, another full reinstall on the new SSD I got, so it's not the game info. I've tried a few solutions or so, I know many people are having problems with it due to bad porting or something, I dunno..

Having trouble with the SF tool too, tried multiple times to run it as administrator but when i do it still freezes just under 1/4 of the way.

Recently got this, I think this may be the same freeze except it allowed me to ctrl alt del (maybe it let me because I pressed it quicker than normally) I've seen it a few times before with battlefield, any ideas? Remember I have tried multiple drivers. Been thinking might it be to do with a faulty overclock?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

Try downloading the SF Tool again and running it?

If your overclocking please reset to default as any overclocking will cause stability issues.
Then monitor the issues and see if they persist?

Have you updated the Firmware on your SSD btw?

cheers
