new to win7 : random BSOD events / sf zip attached

zip file attached, anyone...?

1) page fault in non-paged area

2) special pool detected memory corruption

3) pfn list corrupt

4) memory management

#4 is the latest one, files attached, anyone with ideas...?

I'm beginning to think that the PSU is causing problems. I know this won't exactly be easy, but can you take a look inside your computer and tell me the PSU brand and model?

Low-quality PSUs can cause problems like this.

Oh no. Diablotek is among the worst. They are the "avoid at all costs" PSUs.

Would you be open to replacing it? If so, then can you afford $43.98?

This is tricky indeed, especially if they don't know anything about PSUs - and they probably don't if they stuck you with a Diablotek. This PSU normally costs about $20 or less, so I don't know if it's worth contacting them about it. If it were me, then I would just go and buy the 400W Antec NEO ECO first. That way if it solves the problem, then you may have some weight to an argument of "I'm returning this PSU to you because it was causing problems".

The machine is custom built so I am sure the seller knows what he put in there.

This unit is supposed(?) to be brand new though (less than 2 months old), how rare/common is it for a PSU to give trouble so soon?

After the replacement: what if the BSOD's persist?

The fact that he put a Diablotek PSU in there tells me he doesn't know anything about PSUs at all. Either that, or he couldn't care less and just wanted your money.

It's a very low-quality unit, so it doesn't matter how new or old it is. The quality of its power delivery is very low (dirty, noisy, unstable, etc.). It's not really safe to use PSUs like this, and I hope this seller doesn't know that because if he does, then I'd be pissed!

I admit that I have this fear too because there's always the chance that the damage has already been done. PSUs like this should be avoided. I feel that it should be the responsibility of any custom system builder to know better than to use PSUs like this! Or perhaps he did it on purpose so that you have to pay him to try and fix your computer. It takes all kinds in today's world.
