BSOD error 0x00000124 Hello so i have spent the last week with this BSOD that keeps poping up when i dont want it. Been working long days and now i got time to try to fix it. So I reinstalled Windows 7 home prem hoping that would solve it. Nah the problem is still there i get the same error every time. Its been over a week now since it started and i have reinstalled windows 7 2times already hoping that it would solve anything.
This only happens when i go on the internet or start playing a game(HoN) Everything on my computer is pretty much up to date. Windows 7, Graphic card drivers, sound card drivers, network card drivers.
I tried to change my RAM and it worked most of the part. got a bsod on 2 out of 4. then i tried to use the two that i thought worked and got a bsod again :/. Got one extra RAM that i havent been using gonna try how that works untill i findout a way to fix this problem. Bug code 0x00000124

In such a situation, it is best to use these steps: Enable "Round off checking" before the test (see first post below tutorial). All the hardware seeming to be running stable and tests reporting no errors, could mean a bad motherboard. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion dm1 Notebook PC OS Windows 7 Home Premium x86 Service Pack 1 - Linux Mint Mate 14 x64 CPU AMD E-450 APU (64-Bit) @ 1.65GHz Dual-Core Motherboard HP 3387 36.0A (Socket FT1) Memory 4GB DDR3 @ 676MHz Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics Sound Card Beats Audio - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Monitor(s) Displays LCD HP Monitor Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 @ 60Hz Keyboard Standard PS/2 Keyboard Mouse Synaptics TouchPad V 7.5/Logitech USB Wireless PSU Microsoft Composite Battery - ACPI Case HP Cooling HP Cool Sense Hard Drives 500GB - SATA Hitachi HTS547550A9E384 Internet Speed 24.0 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Opera Other Info NIC - Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter

I would leave the BIOS update for now since there is something wrong with your hardware, and crash points to the Internal clock of your CPU.
What are your temperatures idle (no programs open) and under stress (running the stress test)? Post a screenshot of the CoreTemp output in both situations, and unselect any programs which may be offered during the installation process. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion dm1 Notebook PC OS Windows 7 Home Premium x86 Service Pack 1 - Linux Mint Mate 14 x64 CPU AMD E-450 APU (64-Bit) @ 1.65GHz Dual-Core Motherboard HP 3387 36.0A (Socket FT1) Memory 4GB DDR3 @ 676MHz Graphics Card AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics Sound Card Beats Audio - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Monitor(s) Displays LCD HP Monitor Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 @ 60Hz Keyboard Standard PS/2 Keyboard Mouse Synaptics TouchPad V 7.5/Logitech USB Wireless PSU Microsoft Composite Battery - ACPI Case HP Cooling HP Cool Sense Hard Drives 500GB - SATA Hitachi HTS547550A9E384 Internet Speed 24.0 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Opera Other Info NIC - Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter
