Constant MEMORY_MANAGEMENT bsods - please help

Hi all,

I've recently had my computer repaired (previous problem seems fixed) and I've had it back about 5 days. for the last 3/4 I've had 3-4 MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSODs a day, and I'm not sure how I should proceed.

The SF Diagnostic tool file is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi HortiUK,

You may try 'Memory Diagnostics' to confirm 'Hardware functionality'. Please refer to the following tutorial: RAM - Test with Memtest86+
Note: Ensure that you run the 'Diagnostics' with 1 stick at a time (for best results); Also ensure that you abide by the 'safety measures' while opening up the tower:
- During installation or removal of any hardware, always turn off the system and ensure all data is backed up properly
- Disconnect any telephone, network, and USB cables from the computer
- Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

If no issue is detected with the 'Memory', you may also try updating the 'Network card' drivers. Also share if you first faced this 'Blue screen' after / during the installation of any third party device (printer, etc)

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings.

Hi Saurabh A,

Thanks for the reply, I will try this out and get back to you. I have uninstall recent 3rd party software (of which there wasn't very much) but I've had no new hardware. I've also been getting the 'Nvidia Kernel Driver has stopped responding and has recovered' error when the screen goes black periodically, could it be related? I have the latest Nvidia drivers and I've tried the Microsoft Fixit for this error. I will run Memtest when I get the chance.

Cheers

Hi HortiUK,

The 'nVidia error' may have a relation; would be too early to comment at this time. Would also like an update on the 'Memory Test'.

Also share if you've over-clocked the GPU. If yes, remove the 'over-clocking' and follow the steps listed below:
Try uninstalling and re-installing the 'video drivers'. If the issue persists, you may also run a 'stress test' on the 'display adapter' to verify the 'Hardware functionality': Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings.
