I think you should do a clean install and see if that helps.

Alrighty. I'll see if I can get my hands on a DVD drive.

My little note was put there to remind people trying to help you of something that might be causing problems for you. When you use the cmd promp and you get something outer than the language your computer is set for it probable is a infection. Home Premium doesn't have a language package to the best of my knowledge. I use notes because I don't want to just barge in and get in the way. Then I go back to reading. Now look what I have done; barged in.

Hey bear. It doesnt have language packs but changing your system locale is what controls your cmd and various interface options. The problem with it suddenly changing is that it REQUIRES a restart yet did it for no reason without a restart. I ordered a DVD drive today.

If you need to gather any important or personal files, then you could try a Linux Live CD/USB, you won't need to install the OS.

Alternatively, you could try the two programs listed in Step #9 of this tutorial:

I can get it to boot - but not when the USB with memtest is plugged in. That's what I meant...if the USB is plugged in it claims the OS is corrupt...if it isn't plugged in, it says nothing and will boot up without errors..

Not really a major problem...the DVD drive is estimated delivery of tomorrow; so if re-formatting doesn't fix it, or even if it does, I'll let you all know so we can go from there.

I received the DVD drive on Friday. I installed it and reformatted my computer as soon as I could. I haven't had a single BSOD yet. Going to wait a few more days to see how it goes.

Edit: Played some games tonight and no BSOD as of yet. Where-as before the re-format I was BSOD just by idling within minutes.

Will post again throughout the weekend and on Monday.

It is now 2 A.M. on 2/19/2013. I have not experienced a single BSOD as of yet so I presume that my issue has been resolved via the re-format of my SSD and the re-installation of my Windows 7.
