Blue screen on start up after trying to enable hibernate on

    Hi all,

Today, I googled on how to enable hibernate on Windows 7 and I read the article in the following link:
    Hibernate - Enable or Disable

I tried the third option, which is changing the value in the registry of the windows. After changing the value, I restarted the computer, which is what I was asked. While I was expecting to see the hibernate option enabled, I ended up with the blue screen. After the windows logo on the start up, blue screen shows up on the screen with dumping the memory. Now, I don't know how I can revert this back. Ok, I don't want hibernate enable anymore but at least I need my windows back. Could you please guide me on this?

    Thanks,

    Boot into System Recovery Options
on the Win7 installation DVD or Repair CD to run System Restore to before you made the change.

Most Hibernate problems are caused by the Display driver. Update your Display driver by running all Important and OPtional Windows Updates after enabling Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3)which may also performance updates that are needed.

If this doesn't resolve the Hibernate problem import the latest Display driver from the Support Downloads webpage for your model PC or adapter.
