Random BSOD on shutdown and while browsing Internet

Hi,

As the title suggests I've been having reoccurring BSOD for the past few months. I've tried to read up on some possible fixes and updated some drivers but nothing seems to last. I've had many different types saying different things so it may possibly be more than one issue.

Any help would be appreciated,

Try it at first: "0x0000003B" Stop error when you run certain applications in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2

If the situation does not change, enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Information

Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

Warning

Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

Tip

If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any. Also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

Click on the start button
Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Hey!

Thanks for your reply. I did as you suggested and tried the hot fix but it resulted in more BSOD to a point where I had to revert to a restore point.

Next I tried the Verifier program. After following your instructions and rebooting I was met with an instant crash - the blue screen didn't appear so I'm not sure if there was a dump. Following the second crash I deleted the setting in safe mode.

The past week or so has been okay - some here and there. However doesn't seem to be any pattern to them, watching videos, playing games and even shutting down the computer can cause them.

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Also, the last dump that you uploaded is not DV enabled.
