    Display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered


    I recently face this error, which will eventually make my laptop (HP probook 4525s) to crash and display the BSOD,it seems to occur everytime i try to install the AMD ATI driver for my videocard. i used the SF diagnostic tool and here are the results. My video card is an Ati Radeon HD 5470.

    I already installed the drivers from HP, the old ones and the new ones, the ones from AMD, even tried the AMD autodetect, still no resolve. I even used driver sweeper to remove any other drivers in the process. Still no resolve.

    Go here install the update according to your version bit x86(32bit) or x64 .

    Then rerun the MGADiag report and post it .

    The key that you're using looks to me like its the default key for Windows Ultimate 32-bit . Your Windows is in grace period .

    Some interesting anomalies here.
    According to the Sysinfo, the Install date is 1st March - but the system booted on 28 Feb

    The Key in use is the Default Key for Windows 7 Ultimate - which can never be activated.

    Please activate the system with a proper Key - there is no point in us working to correct a system if the install cannot be legally activated, and I note that the 4525s comes with Pro as standard, while the re is no SLIC table present.
