    Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) after uninstalling Kaspersky

    I got a Dell inspiron n5110 windows 7 pro 64-bit laptop

    First of all...I've just installed Kaspersky 2013 but before i uninstall Kaspersky 2012 from the laptop
    it successfully installed after that i restarted the system but BSoD appears but i could not read it becouse it dose not wait then the system restart gain and keeps on

    In the safe mode i ran the system restore but the Kaspersky 2012 dose not work good

    So i tried to uninstall it but also after restarting the system the BSoD appears again so i used the system restore again

    I also tried the KAVREMOVER tool but also with same result

    Now the device is working probably just i can not remove Kaspersky 2012 or install Kaspersky 2013

    I have also uploded a zib file witch contains the folder that i get from the SF_Diagnostic_Tool
    mbmbmf11

    thank you

    Hi mbmbmf11,

    The crash dump that you've shared indicates a possibility of corrupt/outdated 'Wireless driver'. 'amppal.sys' relates to 'Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 + High Speed Virtual Adapter driver' seems to have caused the crashes.
    Code:
    Probably caused by : AMPPAL.sys ( AMPPAL+18443 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------

    4: kd> !analyze -v

    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
    This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
    the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
    as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
    coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
    /NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
    hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
    If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
    system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
    Arg2: fffff88002b87443, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff8800217ef38, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff8800217e790, Context Record Address

    Another crash dump reported in January points at 'Atheros BlueTooth driver':
    Code:
    BugCheck CE, {fffff8800851e2c0, 8, fffff8800851e2c0, 0}

    DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS (ce)
    A driver unloaded without cancelling timers, DPCs, worker threads, etc.
    The broken driver's name is displayed on the screen.
    It could be a driver conflict Bluetooth. 'Inspiron n5110' is built with various Network cards with Bluetooth capability. It appears that your notebook has the 'Dell Wireless 1702 802.11 b/g/n' Adapter (Works for Wireless and Bluetooth, both; manufactured by Atheros). Please try updating the driver from the following link: Driver Details | Dell US

    Also uninstall the 'Intel Centrino Adapter' drivers/application from 'Windows'. Please refer to the following articles for detailed information:
    Intel® Centrino® Wi-Fi Products — Uninstall Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software
    Network Connectivity — Unable to uninstall Intel® Network Connections, Intel® PROSet, or teams

    Do reply with the findings; will take it forward from there.

    Hi mbmbmf11,

    It appears that conflict in 'Bluetooth drivers' was causing the 'Blue screen errors'.
    Glad that the issue is fixed; thank you for the confirmation. Do reply if you have any further questions.

    similar problem

    I have a Dell Inspiron 580 windows 7 x64
    I had kaspersky 2011 and bought the renewal/update of kaspersky 2013.
    installed kaspersky 2013 without uninstalling 2011, seemed fine, rebooted, got the blue screen of death.
    My computer would then only start up in safe mode (not even safe mode with networking).
    I did a system restore.
    Did the uninstall of kaspersky 2011 was prompted to reboot, blue screen of death, system restore.

    After the system restore I ran the report utility they said I should run and it came up with 1 file as incompatible with the software ApnToolbarInstaller.exe -the Ask toolbar.

    The program doesn't show under the uninstall window, it doesn't show as an addon for firefox, explorer, or chrome. BUT if I follow the location of where the utility says it is I can find the file in it's folder. However I can't uninstall it from there, can't even open in. I tried Revo uninstaller and it doesn't show up there either.

    How do I get this thing out of my computer? How do I make Kaspersky work?

    please and thank you
