Just cause you did a System Restore before you downloaded KB2670838 doesn't mean that update won't show up again when you " Check for Updates " again . You might want to hide that update. To hide the update just right click on the update and choose Hide Update.

That update has been causing issues recently.

Unfortunately, at my school you need a dual band wireless adapter in order to connect to the internet. With my current laptop, there are certain requirements it must meet in order for it to work. it must be a full height card. An adapter will not work as the antenna wires won't go that far....

Hello I have a new Toshiba A500 laptop with a Linksys 610 router, the max wireless connection is 70Mbit. Also have a Dell E5500 with Vista and have a wireless connection 150Mbit. On the Toshiba a have windows 7 64 as OS, standard on the laptop! The wireless chip is Realtek! Thanks Mike
