BSOD - While Idle or in Game

    Hello

I have been reading other threads and noticed you guys are very good at readying the dump files for BSOD. I am a technical person myself, I would love to learn how I can get that data myself.

But meanwhile, I have a problem effecting my gaming and would love your quick help!

I did just update my video card to ATI's newest beta, so it could be that, but since I need that beta for TR and Crysis 3, I am hoping you can tell me if that is or is not the case.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello abdqeb.

Update Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet NDIS6.x Unified Driver from Ethernet NIC Driver Downloads | Broadcom

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Uninstall these programs. All are not only unnecessary but also problematic.
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility
    Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\AsrAppCharger
    Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\ASRock eXtreme Tuner
    Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\InstantBoot
    Start Menu\Programs\MSI Kombustor 2.5
    Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner
    Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner\SDK
    Update the following drivers.
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Asmedia Technology\ASM104x USB 3.0 Driver
    Start Menu\Programs\Asmedia Technology\ASM106x SATA Driver
    Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories
    Start Menu\Programs\Razer\Razer Synapse 2.0
    Start Menu\Programs\Razor 1911
    Start Menu\Programs\Razor 1911\METRO 2033
    Free up the startup.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Let us know the results.
