Little setback

OK...after replacing my power supply I had 24 hours of stability...but today there was another crash with I think a different error message. When it tried to reboot from the BSoD Windows got hung up and I had to power off the comp to get it to boot up.

Attached is the new file.

Thank you!

What is the volume of your power supply now?

Just wondering that it is a Stop 0x50 this time, and this is still indicating the ATI display driver. Also, have you performed the Furmark test I guess?

2 more crashes

I'm attaching 2 more dumps that happened right after coming back from the first one.

It's a 430w power supply that's in there right now.

I did run the FurMark test, the temps were higher with the feathered(?) option on - the one that looks like the iris of an eye in the middle, than when it was turned off. I let it run for an hour without it crashing my comp.

Need the info about the PSU.

Also, the hint of malware is still found. I'd go for a clean reinstall in this case.

I ran Malwarebytes and it identified a password generator file which is quarantined and deleted earlier today. There are still signs of more?

For gaming, is the 430w ps adequate?

No, 430 watts PSU is not adequate. Specially when you play games. You need one of at least 650 watts or higher.

Crash dumps dont tell about the virus with certainty, but the nature and combination of failing modules give a hint. And it hints somehow about an infection.

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 would be the option for you here.

I was finally able to do a clean install and so far, I have had no problems. Since the weekend is here, that means more time to play so I should be able to give it a good run in the game before posting I'm resolved
