Further info

I know this thread is a little old but I was wondering if you had more BSOD's since you replaced your HDD then ran Seatool then fixed your RAM problem?
I might have a similar issue but my Hard drive passed all kind of tests and my RAM is good.
Overall, my laptop is quit new but I know there is always bad luck and bad components.

There are two main things I did to get a sort of stability :
- Re-seated tightly the SATA connectors on the HDD
- Disabled the LPM feature on my Intel Rapid Storage controller in the registry. (There's a plenty of topics about the iastor error out there and even though I have no SSD but the freezing problem is gone now).

So if you happen to have an Intel chipset, try the above manipulation because it's definitely worth it in term of stability and performance.

Everything is working fine for 2 days now but I'm still monitoring for any freeze or BSOD and even triggered some alarms in the system events. What makes it difficult for me is the absence of crash dump file just like you even if I did all the necessary steps for the system to dump it.

Anyway, I'm interested to know more about your case.

Sorry for the really late response. I am guessing by now you resolved it or you haven't ran into any problems since then. I haven't had any BSOD since the replacement of my HDD and RAM (still haven't replaced my RAM yet though. Still working off 2gb - 1 stick).

However, one program I recommend you checking out for your HDD is: Crystal Disk Info.

It basically gives you a run down of Good/Caution/Bad(Critical) of your hard drive. My current hard drive status is Good and I haven't had any problems. My 'bad'/old HDD (if it was) that I replaced gave me a Caution status. Other than reading that I didn't really know how to interrupt the rest of the information Crystal Disk gave me.

I've heard of running Spinrite to also check errors related to the HDD. I may one day test my HDD on my desktop and run Spinrite to see if I can salvage it

Please help

So it seems as if I have been having the same problem as you. Computer slows a bit. Freezes on and off, the BSOD with f4, and occasional 07 stop code. First off I reset my computer and then the OS. After a bit, BSOD. Then I figured HDD problem, so I replaced it with a SSD. Re installed Windows 7 and manually installed the drivers. It worked for a few weeks, but then BSOD. Just like you, I have no crash dump. I even replaced the CMOS battery on a hunch and still BSOD. Best Buy just told me all hardware is fine, so I'm stumpped. All I can think of is a corrupted driver, or maybe some sort of BIOS problem (I'm not very familiar with BIOS issues). I may even buy the reset disks for OS and drivers for my model from HP, but I fear it will just cost money for nothing. I was wondering if you found a solution for this problem, or if anybody has any ideas. Thanks so much for all help.
