Three BSODs "caused" by ntoskrnl.exe, all hardware tests are fine
Hi,
My computer has recently severely slowed down. It can become so unresponsive after a few minutes or hours of work that Windows 7 has to wait for the logoff sound to play before shutting down.
I have also had three crashes recently, all with different bug check strings (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL , and UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP) but all supposedly caused by ntoskrnl.exe. The dump files are attached.
I have tested my CPU, HD and memory with Hot CPU Tester Pro, I tested my memory with the built in Microsoft test, and tested my HD with chkdsk, and none of these tests had any errors.
I can't think of any recent changes I've made to the computer.
What could be the cause/solution to the problem?
Thanks for the help,
David
