    UK freeview channel ITV3 crashes W7 X-64

    Hi all
never thought it would happen but since the Freeview system in the UK required re-tuning of TV channels last week I get the strange thing now on ITV3 in the UK of the system randomly crashing whether I'm on Hauppage wintv or windows media center.

It only happens on ITV3 (was watching a Touch of Frost on a Laptop -- the Hotel I'm in only has "analog" Tv so I used the laptop with a USB DVB-T device.

After 2 / 3 mins screen goes dark and system re-boots.

Every other channel works 100% fine (approx 95 channels inc Radio).

Strange --- never had this type of fault before.

W7 X-64 RTM with Win TV Nova stick.

    Cheers

Hello Jimbo. Is there anything in \Windows\Minidump? If so, please copy the contents to another location on your drive, zip them up, and upload them here.

Otherwise, if there's nothing in that folder, does your event viewer have anything to say at the time of the crash (other than the obligatory "previous reboot was unexpected" event)?

Also, do you have a pagefile on the boot partition (where \windows lives) that's at least say a gigabyte in size? It's necessary for memory dump generation.
