    Help cannot boot computer.

    Okay so here is the deal, My buddy at work comes to me and tells me hey, they released a free upgrade from RTC to Free ultimate, I trusting him as my (Manager!! Like WTFF) Well turns out he ran this program on my compy that was called something hazar or whatever. Now my computer will not boot. It says the file isnt there or whatever. How do i fix his Freaking mistake before i kill him. I have practically my life on this computer and wiping it would practicallly make me start over. So if this is unfixable.. kill me now -.-;

    *Edit*
    Says for me to get an Fdisk partition tool? Im at such a loss here.

    Do you have a backup ? Can you boot into Safe Mode ?

    Ask him to run this on his computer to show how well it works.

    No i dont have a backup. And he has Windows seven running on his computer. I have researched this and turns out what he did was freaking illegal. He used the crack from that Lemeo or what ever the hell its called leak and ran an Exe that was supposed to mess with my bios to make it not notice its a fake key or something.. Freaking idk.. Im about to just say Fck it and wipe my hard drive with iolo drive scrubber disc. But seriously any help would be great before i do this.. Its called like vista loader 2.1.2 that keeps trying to come up.. It is telling me i need to fix it with like an Fdisk Partition tool.. I need a windows vista boot disc so i can redo my operating system. I cant even freaking boot to safe mode or anything so no.

    You have your life on there, yet you make no backups?
    Are you aware the average lifespan of a harddisk is 3 yrs?

    Ok, on a more helpful note.

    What file isn't there? What does it say exactly?

    CL

    you are going to need something to boot from. dvd usb thumb drive, extra HD. besides that, you are going to need something to remove the lenovo nasty he put on your system. google that. IF ALL ELSE FAILS dont fdisk it. if you do its gone.

    do you have a desktop or laptop? if desktop remove the CMOS button battery with the computer unplugged. that will reset the cmos to default.

    let me know when you are ready to proceed
