PLease try resetting your page file:

Quote:
Use this technique to "reset" your pagefile:
a ) Go to Start...Run...and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
-Then click on the Advanced tab,
-then on the Performance Settings Button,
-then on the next Advanced tab,
-then on the Virtual Memory Change button.
b ) In this window, note down the current settings for your pagefile (so you can restore them later on).
-Then click on the "No paging file" radio button, and
- then on the "Set" button. Be sure, if you have multiple hard drives, that you ensure that the paging file is set to 0 on all of them.
-Click OK to exit the dialogs.
c ) Reboot (this will remove the pagefile from your system)
d ) Then go back in following the directions in step a ) and re-enter the settings that you wrote down in step b ). Follow the steps all the way through (and including) the reboot.
e ) Once you've rebooted this second time, go back in and check to make sure that the settings are as they're supposed to be.

Alright, Page file reset has been completed, and I've been attempting to play games for the past fifteen minutes or so. The problem with the crashes is that they never really show up when I expect them to, so for the moment, everything seems clear. I'll be sure to try and get more time in so that I can try and see if that fixed it! Thank you very much for your help so far, and I look forward to marking this as solved.

Unfortunately, it seems as though the problem doesn't want to go away so easily! While playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the game froze after ~15 minutes, caused by the failure of dxhr.exe (I assume related to DirectX 11 or the like). Upon trying to click the "Close the Program" option, the entire computer locked up and froze, and I was forced to do a hard restart.

EDIT: DXHR.exe appears to be the name of the application itself. The same happens during battlefield, in which BF3.exe stops working as well.

I don't believe the HDD to be the cause of the issue, as these crashes and freezes had been occurring for the weeks prior to me getting a brand new HDD to try and remedy the problem.

Alright please ensure that the card is seated properly on the mother board, and check for possible virus infection with the following tools:

I reseated the card, and checked all parts of the system with the tools. No hits on viruses, and the problem continues to persist.
