Numerous BSOD screens, have tried everything cant find problem!

    As Greg stated, there is no reason I know of for you to be in raid mode in bios. Before you install, follow gregs tutorial Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 but also, before the install, make sure your sata controller is not set to raid mode. Set it to AHCI. If you have trouble installing in AHCI, which you shouldn't, put it in IDE mode. Raid mode is totally unnecessary and only useful if you are running a raid array.

    Yeah I am not sure why this computer is set for Raid, it was always like that since I got it. I will follow the instructions on the clean reinstall. I am going away for the weekend but will be installing the new hard drive and windows on Tuesday. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all your help!

    First day in over a week that it started up and stayed on with no problems.....I was shocked!
