Thanks guys. All seems to be ok. It must have been another noise I think. So I got the do not remove plastic off the VgA port. Do I need to check and make sure it's enabled or is it automatically enabled. Like could they have shut down that port since I had an external graphics card? Just want to make sure what to do from here. If nothing has to be done then I will plug my monitor into this VgA port and that should start up the onboard graphics correct?

Could you post a picture of the entire back of the computer so we could see all the ports? I'm concerned about the do not remove cover.

It appears that the connection port of the GPU is not VGA, but DVI. So the cable is also a DVI cable. You are to connect it to the DVI port of the motherboard. Look at the pins, it will be clear to you.

No I use a VGA To dvi onnector.so I can just pull that off and it will go right into the VGA port.
