BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (Waking from Sleep)

I re-purposed a supermicro server to give to a family member. But, it is having an issue with BSOD's in Windows 7 64-bit. Essentially, it often gets BSOD's when waking from sleep mode. The system ran esxi for over 3 years without so much as a hiccup, but new hardware has been added in order to use it as a desktop.

The new/old hardware added:
ATI X1600
Corsair m4 128 SSD
Corsair Power Supply
Syba 7.1 Sound Card
Rosewill RNX-N150PCe Wireless Adapter (Also, tried an old linksys PCI 802.11g wireless card)
Generic Dell Keyboard and Mouse
HP 2175 USB Printer

I ran verifier a couple times while having the issue, but haven't been able to narrow down the issue thus far. Any help narrowing down the issue would be great. Attached is the system logs and minidumps. The error message from the dumps is Bug Check 9f - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

thanks.

The BSODs are caused by Envy24 Family Audio Controller driver.

Try to update it from VIA Vinyl Audio - VIA Technologies, Inc.

The Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter driver is also contributing to the crashes.

Update it from Drivers for Atheros AR9285 and Windows 7

The BIOS is also very old.
Code:
BiosVersion = 1.0b
BiosReleaseDate = 04/23/2009
Search for possible BIOS updates in Super Micro Computer, Inc. | Support | Resources.

Let us know the results.

Thanks a bunch. I updated both the audio and wifi drivers. And if that doesn't work, i'll proceed with upgrading the bios. I need to get a blank usb stick. Anyways, I'll post back in a day or two with the results. Thanks, again.

Well, looks like the new drivers didn't solve the issue. According to the event viewer, I've had 3 more crashes since then. So, I went ahead and updated the bios, I'll report back in a day or two with the results.

Yes, it is the same.

For a desktop, hibernate is not anything must as it runs from external power and not on the battery. Disable ihibernate?

Thanks, I'll look into finding more fixes related to the sound card, or replacing the sound card.

Hibernate was already set to never in the power plan settings.
