BSOD while playing and hosting, error 0x0000000a
Recently my machine has been crashing with the error 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or 0x0000000a' while playing on and hosting a modded minecraft server. It has happened across multiple servers, with different mods so it is not an error with the server.
While playing, my system will freeze, go to the BSOD, and then restart giving me the 'Windows did not shutdown correctly' boot screen. I can then start Windows normally, and with nothing wrong.
This has happened 6 times now, and according to BlueScreenView the driver it is caused by varies, and is sometimes the Kernel, and others have been a sound driver or my touchpad driver.
I did some research, and I am now thinking that it is a RAM issue. My computer has 4GB of RAM, and I do not think it is Windows running out of memory because I still leave 2GB free for everything else. However, I can play other games without getting the BSOD. I am thinking corrupted RAM. I am attempting to run MemTest86+, but will do that later because I cannot seem to get my system to boot to USB (Don't want to break my laptop) so I will try from CD later.
Is there anything you recommend me doing to help fix this? Or is it likely to be faulty RAM and need replacing?
Thanks
