Frequent BSODs after leaving laptop on standby at random periods.

    ANother BSOD while running the scan. DO you think my hard disk is spoiled?

    I think so.

    Turn the system off, open the case and check if the Hard drive is warm or more warm than its supposed to be.

    It also would be a wise plan to back up your data externally.

    Both the bugcheck codes are 0X7A with the probable cause Ntfs.sys; that indicates a failing HDD, taking into account teh earlier information we already have.

    Take the backup as early as possible.

    Thanks for all your help so far. Now that you mentioned it, I've noticed my laptop gets crazily hot at times. About the back up thing, I'm in college so I do not have the means or the times to even get an external hard disk especially my exams are around the corner. Anyway thanks for all your help.
