BSOD upon attempting to Hibernate

My laptop currently will BSOD if I attempt to hibernate the system. I have not verified sleeping at this point in time and I probably will not because I almost never use sleep.

Thanks to anyone with useful information in advanced. Sorry if this is a malformed thread and please comment if so.

Welcome

Uninstall Connectify, tell us how things go from there.

sptd.sys Sun Aug 19 03:05:38 2012 (503003A2)
SCSI Pass Through Direct Host - Daemon Tools (known BSOD issues with Windows 7)

  • Uninstall DAEMON Tools and any Alcohol % software. It uses a driver called sptd.sys which is known to cause BSODs in Windows 7. Uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs. Reboot the system. Once the program is uninstalled, run sptd.sys uninstaller to remove the driver from your system.
As an alternative, many people recommend the use of Total Mounter or Magic ISO
  • Keep less stuff at the start-up. Only anti-virus, this helps avoid driver conflicts and improves time to log in to windows.
