    Run SFC /scannow

Open up the command prompt same way as you did for chkdsk . Type the command below

    sfc /scannow
press <ENTER> if it locates any corrupted files upload the CBS.log file

    Location of file : C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

Got an error I must be an administrator running a console session in order to use the sfc utility. I am an administrator.

    Disregard. Got it running now.

Windows didn't find any integrity violations.
This is crazy. I used XP for 8 years and only had a BOD a couple times. I've been using this machine a few months and it's done it more than that already. Is Windows 7 that bad?

BSODs are caused by a lot of things . Use your PC as normal if you get another BSOD upload the .dmp file .

I am not home at the moment so if you get a BSOD I won't be able to check the file out right away .

Thank you for your help VK. I'll upload the file when another BSOD occurs. Have a great day!

Might also want to run a virus scan as well use Malwarebytes or MSE .
