    No, no there is not. There are no stickers of any type. I got this system in a trade with a friend several years ago and it appears to have been hand-built. It has had no issues to date.

    I've ended up doing a system restore to 04/22, as crashes have accelerated to a rate of 4 in an hour. We'll see if this fixes the problem.

    You need SP-1. I highly recommend installing it.

    Well, I haven't had any crashes since revert, so it had to be one of the changes since 04/22.

    The installation is counterfeit
    An Acer OEM_SLP Key on a retail motherboard.
    The ACER SLIC table means that a hacker's Activation Exploit is over-riding the activation/validation system.

    You need to reformat and reinstall using genuine media.
