So I ran a diagnostic test called "Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics" and it found some bad sectors so then I clicked repair and this is the result ; Attachment 267223
Unfortunately the Western Digital website provides one diagnostic test for the hard drive. Source:http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...id=702&lang=en

Yeah my other 500gb hard drive isn't corrupted. I'm using it right now to write this reply.

x BlueRobot, I also tried the Disk Check but ; Attachment 267235 but that didn't help either. I had to exclude step 11 because the drive needs to be booted in order to schedule the next disk check.

It will be a hard bad sector, these can't be repaired, it's best to backup all the data on the corrupted hard-drive, and then transfer it to the hard-drive which works.
