BSOD while classpnp.sys classpnp.old (Safe Mode)

Hello,
I have recently taken the hard drive of my laptop and connected it to my desktop computer. The name of the hard drive is ; WD2500B EVS - 60 USTO (250GB). However when I try to boot from using windows 7 than I get a BSOD but when I boot it using ubuntu it works. The Hard Drive is dual (windows 7 & ubuntu). I pretty much used every resource to fix this problem; safe mode, safe mode with networking, windows 7 repair and still I get the same result. When I tried to boot from safe mode it always gets stuck in C: \windows\ system32\drivers\classpnp.sys classpnp.old. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue ?

Yes because it works on my laptop but when I connect it to my desktop computer it doesn't. (windows 7)

I'm gonna do each step and give the results one by one;

Step 1 - I already tried this step before I wrote this post.
Step 2 - Can't boot from Safe Mode or with Networking.
Step 3- Tried using bootable Kaspersky USB Rescue Disk however when booting from the usb I get a message "No operating systems found".. Also I can't move the HD to another PC since I dont have one (laptop is broken). I'm still gonna try the other ones though.

It seems that the BIOS couldn't find a bootable sector for your Windows 7 installation, it seems that the GRUB bootloader, may have overwritten the Windows bootloader, leaving your Windows 7 installation in a unbootable state.

I'm confused by the problem : the dual boot was working fine in the laptop, but you have moved it to the desktop? Why?

I agree that it looks like GRUB has destroyed the Windows MBR - why it would do that simply by moving the drive from the laptop (where there was no problem) to the desktop, is still unclear to me. I'm not sure we have the complete story.

What about updating GRUB? Will not it correct the boot error for both the OSs?

I am not very linux savvy, but if the HDD is formatted as GPT by linux, might it be the reason for not booting windows? Probably a GPT/EFI issue?
