Try Driver Sweeper (link in my sig) and use it to remove all graphics drivers, AMD or nVIDIA. Reboot and cancel if you see "Installing device drivers" Then install the correct driver for your card.

I have run GIMPS for 4 threads overnight and all of them experienced fatal errors and hardware failures after a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 12. does this indicate a bad CPU?

Maybe not, if you're overclocking anything stop it and reset BIOS to default values and test.

Search in Download - Welcome to TP-LINK if there is any possible driver update.

Uninstall these following bloatware
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility
Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\SmartConnect
Start Menu\Programs\ASRock Utility\XFast RAM
Now let us know the situation. As the display driver is the latest, not altering it right now. But in case we need to think over the display driver, too; depending on the results.

It may/might BSOD again, as I am guessing. Then we have to search for the reasons behind the graphics failure.

Still, best of luck

Bad news, I experienced another crash. the only suggested things I haven't tried are underclocking and testing the PSU, neither of which i know how to do. have attached the most recent dump files.

As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings. Also set the BIOS to default, too.

Possibly driver-related BSoDs
Hi I'm new here and have a nasty BSoD problem going on. I've been searching for days for threads or info to help out but nothing's quite worked out. I've so far managed to narrow it down (I THINK) to a driver in my Atheros WLAN card. A recurring theme in my BSoDs seems to be athrx.sys so I've...
