BSOD happens randomly every night

Hi I've been getting a BSOD for about a month now and have tried running all the diagnostic tools and they come up with nothing, I even went as far as buying a new hard drive yesterday and doing a fresh install of windows and i have just done all the updates and downloaded my motherboard and graphics card drivers. I have also installed steam and arma 2, otherwise the computer is factory defaults and have gotten a blue screen multiple times in the past two days. Here's my dump files any info would be great!

Note: I have noticed many times after I boot back up from a BSOD steam is doing an update.

BugCheck 24, {1904fb, fffff880053ef1f0, fffff880053ef290, fffff80002cfc7fc}

Probably caused by : Ntfs.sys ( Ntfs+c02de )

Followup: MachineOwner
---------
Bugcheck 24 - NTFS_File_System
caused by ntfs.sys

Check the OS integrity by running SFC /scannow from elevated command prompt
to open the command prompt, click start > type "cmd" without quotes on the search bar > enter

As you said you already replaced your hard drive, this could be corrupted installation...or even the SCSI/IDE Drivers fault.

maybe the other guys can help you more thoroughly

Hello cipley, I ran the sfc/scannow and it came up with nothing, (Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations). Thanks for the suggestion!

I also was told by a friend not sure if it's accurate or not but he thought it could be my ram even though the memory diagnostic tool came up with nothing, he suggested trying to run the computer on each ram stick alone and thought if there was a problem with one it would not work. I did this and the computer booted up normal on each ram stick.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for things to try I would appreciate it.

If you have an SSD update the firmware on it . If you have a mechanical hard drive ( spinning heads ) update the SATA driver .

Here is the HDD, a 2 TB Seagate Barracuda (64 MB cache).
Desktop HDD: 4TB Internal SATA Drive | Seagate

As it is nvidia chipset, storage driver is the part of chipset driver. The storage driver version is:
Code:
  Timestamp: Fri Apr 09 14:52:41 2010 (4BBEF1E1)
And this is available in the motherboard's site ....
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-M68MT-S2 (rev. 3.1)

No storage driver update is feasible.

Then what?

Suggestions should be complete, and is to be supported by the updated data. No scope of imagination is there in troubleshooting.

according to here, the main suspect would be the storage device...

Can you check the event viewer?
Start > Run or press Windows + R on your keyboard
type eventvwr then OK
then check on Windows Log. see if there is any error that related to NTFS/File System error

also, doing chkdsk /f /r on command prompt worth a shot.
it might be necessary to schedule the scan right before windows login. You'll be prompted to do so

Cheers

It happens randomly, even with just firefox open, or even sometimes right after or during boot up.
