BSODs, no pattern of when they happen. No dump generated. Error 7A
Hello everyone,
Having an issue that has been worrying me for quite some time now and I am hoping to get it solved with some help from you wonderful people.
To outline the issue:
This is a random blue screen that happens at anytime. It is not extremely often, but happens at least once weekly. When I am on the computer and it happens, the computer slows down until a point at which it becomes almost totally unresponsive... the mouse cursor still moves but nothing can be clicked on, keyboard shortcuts do not do anything etc. It will hang there until it goes to the bluescreen.
The most common occurrence of the bluescreen is when I leave the PC idle - running absolutely no foreground programs, come back to blue screen.
About the error message:
It is a STOP error, 0x00000007A.
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
The blue screen hangs at "initializing disk for crash dump." It does not go past this stage, upon reset there is no crash dump created. I have properly configured my PC as per this tutorial to create minidumps upon crashes but still nothing is created Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
I am not overclocking anything, and this problem is new (PC has never BSOD'd in this fashion, and has created minidumps perfectly fine in the past).
I have run the SF diagnostic tool and the output is attached in a compressed .rar. Hopefully this is still of use without any minidump....
My pc specs have been filled out in my profile.
Thank you
Alabas
