Random BSOD's over the last couple of days.

As far as I can tell there is nothing in common with any of my BSOD's I have been getting one or two over the last few days.

Thank you so much for any help,

    Rich

still, no crash dump file :\
did your setting is already to create dump file when BSOD occur?
refer back to x BlueRobot's link...or you might want to wait for another BSOD

I had it set for the kernel dump and changed it to the mini-dump after you mentioned it, but I have not had a BSOD since changing it so I will wait for another BSOD before posing again.
As I remember it the instructions told you how to set up the dump file with three options. I have 32GB of ram so the complete dump was not an option. I take it that the mini-dump is the correct option and that is what it is set to now.

    Thanks again, Rich

Well Dang! I thought it was gone, but it started up again yesterday. Hopefully I have done this correctly this time.

One thing that I don't know if anyone else experiences, but when I run the SF Diagnostic Tool, the "XXX File copied successfully" window pops up behind the main menu and you can't close it, and nothing happens until you do. Attempts to move the main menu also fail.

    Thanks for your help, Rich

There's no dump file(s) in the folder, please go to this directory:

    Code:
    %systemroot%/Minidump
Then place the dump file in a zipped folder, and upload in your next post using - Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
