BSOD at indiscriminate times over the last 2 months.

    Hello Everyone,

I hope you can help me out. I have been getting BSOD pretty randomly over the last few months. I finally took the time to try and figure out what is going on but whatever it is, is beyond my abilities.

This is the information i get when my computer restarts:

    Problem signature
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 4105

    Extra information about the problem
    BCCode: 1000007e
    BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF88004174E26
    BCP3: FFFFF8800C9C3568
    BCP4: FFFFF8800C9C2DC0
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1
    Bucket ID: X64_0x7E_dxgmms1!VIDMM_GLOBAL::ReferenceAllocationForPreparation+22
    Server information: 067e55e5-b466-4309-9095-4fcefee18ea9

The BSOD occurs even when my computer is idle, but seem to happen more frequently when I am playing a video game or watching a movie. It is does seem to be memory related (or at least I do not believe so) and I have used memtest to go through both sticks individually for about 10 passes each. Memtest did not report any errors.

I hope someone can help me out on this. If there is any more information I can provide please let me know.

    Thank you
      My Computer

    Uninstall WinpkFilter.
    Code:
    fffff880`046bd2d8 fffff880`02de5bf8Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\ndisrd.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ndisrd.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ndisrd.sys
     ndisrd+0x1bf8
    It is blocking network activities.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

Uninstall all the components of your display driver using AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility . Then install the latest WHQL.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

    Uninstall MagicISO.

    Let us know the results.
