I am attempting to do the listed things, but my computer will randomly freeze up and i will have to restart a few times to get my SSD detected again. But still, my GPU is undetected.
EDIT: after another crash my GPU is showing up in device manager, to update or not to update..

Update all the drivers which will help with the SSD, and then stress test the graphics card.

Updated most drivers, but cant get the nvidia update to start. I did the stress test anyways and quickly shut it down as my GPU shot up to 100 degrees Celcius in 10 seconds. Was getting like 6 fps as well. Anyways I think i may have to buy myself a replacement GPU, because i freeze after like 5 minutes on normal mode, am booted up on safe mode currently.

Have you checked that the GPU fan is working correctly? There was a user who's GPU fan wasn't working, and it was causing several BSODs and overheating problems.

Yeah I hear the fan going and I opened the computer up and even reapplied some arctic silver to the GPU as it had some really old thermal paste.

EDIT: I have managed to play some CSS for a good 10 minutes and GPU got up to around 89 celcius without freezing.

Have you checked the other fans for any dust etc?

Where do you place your laptop when using it?

My laptop only has one fan and i use it on a desk i know not to put it on like a couch or bed where the fan wont be able to suck any air in. I have yet to have a freeze, which i find quite odd, perhaps keeping the GPU busy keeps it from freezing my compy.
EDIT: i finished playing the game and about 15 seconds after i closed it my comp froze up again...wtf

Have you tried installing the nVidia graphics card driver through Windows Update again?

I am installing the newest 320.18 nvidia driver and going to see if the problem persists.

Ok computer hasnt freezed yet, but my logitech m705 usb mouse is malfunctioning according to my computer. Installing logitech setpoint to see if that helps, it seems like it is one problem after another right now.
