    Well the problem is, my laptop does not have a floppy disc. So what should I do? Just ignore the BIOS update? Anyway, I am not experiencing any crash dumps anymore.

    Leave the BIOS update, and leave this thread open for about a week, sorry for the slow reply.

    That's good to know, it could have been a random one-off BSOD, I've had one like that before and never have had a BSOD since.
