    Random crashes playing any games or graphic intense operations

    I am running a quad sli setup, and for the past 6 months I have had no issues. No when playing games like Wow or crysis, I get random crashes. I'm trying to figure out if it is a hard ware issue or a heat issue.

    I do not overclock anything, and I recently reduced my sli from quad to triple to try to reduce heat by opening more flows in my custom case. The errors in the who crashed did go from : NVIDIA Corporation SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M in a quad config to a NVIDIA Corporation VIDEO_TDR_ERROR in a triple sli config. I did update all drivers and bios, but I'm still getting these random crashes with dumps.

    A stop 0x116 is a display/graphics related error, and a big lot of a computer's hardware/software environment is responsible for it.

    Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

    Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
    How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
    Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

    Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
    eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
    At least 30% extra is safe.

    Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

    let us know the results.
