Ok measure the temps and post the screenshots.. using speedfan, hwinfo and coretemp

I was getting errors from trying to install SP1 through windows update. So I found a way to manually install through microsoft downloader

are you still getting BSOD ???

I haven't in a bit. My fingers are crossed that I did something right

I appreciate your help. Seriously, I had no idea that I would get this sort of service. This is the first time I've done more than just google my problem, but from now on I know my go-to place. Seriously. You're awesome

So far all has been ok today. I don't want to preemptively mark it solved like last time but all seems to be working well. Again thank you for all the help.

No problem at all.. measure it for a week if you want before you mark it as solved...

Also do keep an eye on the temps once in a while...
