Random freezes, no error shown on screen

Hi all,

I was having a problem with coloured crash screens a few weeks ago. I thought the problem was fixed but now my system keeps freezing and i have to hard reboot it. I've installed a new graphics card but that didnt help. It happens randomly. I ran malwarebytes and it didnt find anything.

The first parameter or argument has the value of 0x0, which is a Machine Check Exception, which means the CPU has detected a hardware problem and the address points to a processor error because the CPU has found one, so it could be a different form of hardware which is causing the issue. All the hardware seeming to be running stable and tests reporting no errors, could mean a bad motherboard.

If we look into the problem in more detail, we can see there is a generic timeout error on one of the buses, this means that the CPU has detected a hardware fault but is unable to pinpoint what is causing the problem.

Is there a way i can test to see if it's my motherboard? At first i thought it was my GPU. Maybe it's the PCIe slot/part? (sorry, dont know tech terms)

There's no way to test the motherboard, apart from swapping the motherboard out or testing all the hardware.
