We all have installed SP1 and suggested a great number of users to installed it, nobody reported such a situation. So it is difficult to say what is happening there with you.

Do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 .

It just crashed on me again a while ago, by the way.
    This thing, man...
    I swear, maximum buyer's remorse.

What if clean reinstall doesn't do anything? I'll use the OEM on this laptop, but if it really doesn't improve, then please just take heed. NEVER get this model. In fact, I'd do well to stay away from Acer in general after this.

There is no fix button, unfortunately.

After the clean reinstall with SP1, dont use any program like Virtual clone Drive anymore.

No code has to be inserted here.

If still it crashes the same way, and if you are ready to accept the suggestions, you will get the solution hopefully.
