    Blue screen after CPU/MB/RAM upgrade.

    Hi,

Ive tried everything I can to find my problem, I have no idea about reading minidumps so im posting them here in the hope that someone with more knowledge of them could possibly help!
I havnt collected the info from SF Diagnostic Tool as I have reinstalled Windows 7 various times.

    Heres what ive tried.

PC blue screens or freezes at least once a day. (Worked fine before MB/CPU/RAM change)
Clean install of Windows 7 (several times)
Motherboard settings all default. All drivers updated for latest.
I have stressed CPU for 24 hours with Prime95 - no errors
I have checked RAM with MemTest86 for 10 hours - no errors
    Used a new PSU
Changed all SATA cabes for new ones
Used 2 different hard drives as C drive
Used 1 stick of RAM at a time, used different set of RAM.

Debug info points to "POOL_CORRUPTION" being the cause

As the only components not changed are motherboard and CPU Im guessing motherboard or CPU the likely cause unless anyone can read anything into the crash dumps?

    Many thanks

    Lee

    Hello Lee72.

    Uninstall Networx.

Update the Intel HD Graphics Driver, either from our forum link, Latest Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 7, or You may get it from Intel Download Center.
Moreover, you may run the Intel (R) Driver Update Utility to auto detect the appropriate driver for your computer.

Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

    1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    2. It will open the "computer management" window.
    3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
    4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
    6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
    7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

Update intel network driver from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx

    Let us know the results.
If it crashes any more, post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Thanks for the quick reply Arc.

Ive removed Networx, it was working fine on my old set up but that was an older version, I updated it when installed new components. It was running for the later BSOD's although not mentioned in the dumps.

Removed Intel rapid storage and Intel IDE ATA/ATAPI controller, there was only one listed.

Updated Intel Graphics driver plus one other from the update utility.

I'll see how I get on and report back later.

    Cheers

After 2 weeks no crashes, the cause of my BSOD was Networx (just installed it and crashed after few hours). Thanks again to Arc for the solution.

    Cheers
