Win7 laptop sometimes BSODs at start up, sometimes not.

I am running a laptop(acer 7750g). I have recently installed new graphics drivers(leshcat unifl amd+intel drivers) and a modded bios(to enable switchable graphics "fixed mode"). Sometimes when I start up my computer, I get a BSOD. After getting the error, I choose start windows normally and I can start up just fine. Other times I can start up without having a BSOD at all.

The BSOD screen changes way too fast before I can get information, but I can recall something like "memory" and something loading from 0 to 100. I also have the following info: (after I booted up successfully)

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1000007e
    BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
    BCP2: FFFFF88004CED2EE
    BCP3: FFFFF88003376888
    BCP4: FFFFF880033760E0
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\062213-21247-01.dmp
    C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-52821-0.sysdata.xml

This is sort of worrying me.

    Code:
On Sun 23/06/2013 3:31:37 AM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: E:\BSOD\062213-21247-01.dmp
    uptime: 00:00:14
This was probably caused by the following module: igdpmd64.sys (igdpmd64+0x442EE)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF88004CED2EE, 0xFFFFF88003376888, 0xFFFFF880033760E0)
    Error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
Bug check description: This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: igdpmd64.sys .
Please uninstall the Intel graphics driver, then let Windows install the one it finds when you run Windows update. See if the system is stable.

I would also remove Avast! antivirus with its removal tool from here: Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software. And use MSE in its place.

Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes are recommended from a strict BSOD perspective. They do not cause blue screens on the system as other AV products do.

Microsoft Security Essentials, Free antivirus for windows and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free

       Information
    • Do not start the free trial of MalwareBytes, unselect that option when prompted.

    • Update and make full scans with both separately.
