BSOD Clock interupt not recieved...daily?

Hi

I recently clean reinstalled Windows 7 home premium, i have since had daily BSOD issues, mainly while browsing the net, not while using taxing software. I am a novice at diagnosing these issues any help appreciated.

The particular BSOD you are receiving can be caused by a BIOS bug, and looking at your BIOS date it is fair to say that the BIOS is out dated:

Code:
BIOS Version/Date	Award Software International, Inc. F2, 29/03/2011
BIOS updates can be found on the motherboard manufacturers web site.

In that case start doing some hardware testing to make sure that the CPU isn't damaged or failing:

Prime95:
Free Software - GIMPS

Quote:
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight you may want to run the "Small FFTs" test instead.
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.

Please do the following:

Run the system file checker

Quote:
SFC.EXE /SCANNOW
Go to Start and type in "cmd.exe" (without the quotes)
At the top of the search box, right click on the cmd.exe and select "Run as adminstrator"
In the black window that opens, type "SFC.EXE /SCANNOW" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
IF the program ends with anything other than "no integrity violations found" run the program two more times.
If after the third run there are still problems run the SFC command at boot: SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot
